1955

Elvis met Tom Diskin in Roswell, at a hotel in New Mexico 3.00 PM.
Elvis performed in "The Junior High School Auditorium", Roswell with
"The Hank Snow Jamboree" 7.30 PM and 9.30 PM

1956

Elvis performed in "The Charles L.Coon High School" Wilson, North Carolina at
7.00 and 9.00 PM. A third show is at 11.00 PM

1957

Elvis re-recorded both fast and slow versions of Loving You at Radio Recorders.
RCA informed Elvis that it was exercising its option to extend the term of his contract,
currently due to expire on October 15, 1961, until October 15, 1966.

1962

While at home at Graceland, Elvis frequently screened motion pictures,
both current and historic, in the basement TV room on a 16mm projector supplied by RCA

1964

Elvis interrupted his Vegas stay to travel to Long Beach, California,
for presentation of the Potomac to Danny Thomas on behalf of St Jude's Hospital in Memphis.

1966

Elvis attended a music meeting to select songs for the Spinout soundtrack.

1967

From Harry Levitch Elvis bought a man's white gold horseshoe ring for $475,
a lady's horseshoe pin for $ 475, and a special Valentine's charm.

1968

Elvis and Priscilla went to Gladys' grave and left some flowers and a card
(from "Elvis-Priscilla-Lisa Marie"), with special orders that the card had to be
burned along with the flowers when they wilted.

1970

1972

Elvis performed at the Showroom, Las Vegas Hilton, Las Vegas.
RCA taped both dinner and midnight shows primarily for the purpose of recording
newly introduced songs. Felton Jarvis supervised the taping,
but his health problems had worsened and he required dialysis
treatment several times a week. The intended life album never
actually materializes, but the recordings would show up on various subsequent releases.

1973

Elvis performed at the Showroom, Las Vegas, Hilton, Las Vegas.
The Hilton released this announcement before the dinner show:
"Ladies and Gentlemen, Elvis because of illness was unable to do his late show last night.
He did, however , do the dinner show last night against doctor's advice. Again,
tonight, he was asked by his doctors not to do a show, but he wants to do the best he can.
He does not want to disappoint the people who came to see him.
There will be no late show tonight. Thank You."

1975

Elvis was discharged from the hospital, but in order to avoid crowds of fans this was
done between midnight and 1.00 a.m. He returned to Graceland to recuperate.
Dr.Nick had hoped to regulate Elvis' medication and diet and began a routine,
in which either he or his nurse, would stop by Graceland every day to dispense
the allotted prescriptions. Dr. Nick also encouraged Elvis to play racquetball
with him as often as he could and he spent time in discussion with Elvis. Elvis got
"laugh therapy" from his constant viewing of old Monty Python episodes,
which he knew by heart now.

1977

Elvis performed at the Bay front Center, St. Petersburg, Florida. 8:30 PM
Crowd was 8355 and Elvis wore Chiefsuit with the second belt.

1948

Elvis become member of the library. He gets Tupelo Library card,
on which mentioned Elvis Aron Presley, 13 are years and sign by his mother.

1955

Elvis performed in "The Fair Park Coliseum", Lubbock, Texas.

1956

Elvis performed in "The Paramount Theater" New Port, Virginia at 4.30, 7.00 en 9.00 PM

1959

Elvis created a traffic jam in Friedberg, when he stopped to sign autographs.

Elvis continued to be ill and his doctors recommended that he canceled both shows.
He did do the dinner show, but followed the advice by canceling the midnight shows
both on this night and the next.

There was an agreement drawn up between Elvis, real estate developer T. Michael McMahon,
Joe Esposito and Dr. Nick for the creation of a chain of racquetball
courts around the country the be called Presley Center Courts.

1977

Elvis performed at the Auditorium, West Palm Beach, Florida. 8:30 PM.
Crowd was 5981 Elvis wore the Rainfall suit with original belt.

1956

Elvis and the band leaves New York at 7.30 AM to Norfolk, Virginia,
where they performed in "The Monticello Auditorium" at 2.30, 5.00 and 8.00 PM

1970

Elvis performed at the Showroom, International Hotel, Las Vegas at 8.30 PM and midnight

1971

Elvis performed at the Showroom, International Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada.

The crowd was 15500 and Elvis wore Chief suit with the second belt.
Elvis insisted that Ginger accompanied him on this first tour of the year.
The highlights of the show for the most part remained the great dramatic displays,
Unchained Melody, Hurt and How Great Thou Art. This was David Briggs' last tour,
who didn't know how much Elvis knew about his relationship with Linda,
but he found out when Elvis pulled the plug on his electronic keyboard toward the end of
the tour.

1955

Elvis performed twice. 4.00 PM in "Sports Arena", Carlsbad, New Mexico and in Hobbs,
New Mexico.

1956

Elvis performed in "Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey Stage Show"
CBS Studio, New York City at 8.00 PM.

1957

Elvis filmed the "tavern" scene from Loving You, in which envious local thugs
picked a fight with singer Deke Rivers, who, like his real-life counterpart,
definitely appealed to their girlfriends.

1958

Elvis recorded soundtrack material on Paramount's soundstage from 1.00 to 9.55 p.m.
He re-recorded Steadfast, Loyal And True and he worked on the song Danny,
which was still an option to be used as title song, in case the film's name would
remain A Stone For Danny Fisher.

1959

An employee of a German film company came to the house to try to persuade Elvis
to sing just one song in an upcoming production. Elvis explained that he was
hesitant to do anything that might lead to resentment on the part of his fellow soldiers.
In passing, he expressed almost equal concern about fan resentment when he was
unable to sign autographs.

1960

Elvis received his full sergeant's stripes and he threw a party to celebrate



1966

Elvis reported to MGM for preproduction on Spinout.

Elvis and the Colonel sent a telegram to be read on the air.

At the same time he had continued to exhibit the kind of erratic personal behavior

and several television sets.

1959

Janie Wilbanks, the girl that Elvis met at the Memphis train station when the troop train passed through, had come to Germany, to visit her uncle, and stayed with Elvis for nearly a week. On most Sundays, Elvis, Red, Lamar, Rex, Charlie Hodge and some other friends played touch football on a vacant lot down the street.

1961

Elvis stopped at the Skyrider Hotel in Phoenix on a trip to Los Angeles.

1963

Elvis filmed the "Bossa Nova Baby" sequence of Fun in acapulco.

1967

During a horse-buying expedition in Mississippi, Elvis came across Twinkletown Farm,
about 10 miles south of Graceland. The property was for sale and Elvis decided to buy it.
He renamed it Circle G and the ranch became the new home for Elvis' growing herd of horses and over the next few weeks Elvis and the guys adopted the cowboy life, as Elvis undertook extensive and rapid-fire improvements to the property.
