 Elvis performed at MB Corral, Wichita Falls, Texas.

1956

Elvis gets a contract with Hal Wallis and Paramount Pictures for three movies.

1960

Elvis had music rehearsals in the morning which were followed by wardrobe tests in the afternoon.

1973

Elvis performed at the Selland Arena, Fresno, California at 4 and 8.30 p.m at 4pm the crowd was 7500 and Elvis wore the Lucky Suit with original belt and Silver cape ( would love to see a photo of this ) and at 8:30 the crowd was again 7500 and Elvis wore the "blue rain" suit with original belt and blue cape.

1975

Elvis performed at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum, Jacksonville, Florida at 8:30 pm. The crowd was 10532 and Elvis wore the "White two-piece" suit with blue shoulder ornament and no belt.

1976

Elvis performed at the Arena, Long Beach, California at 2.30 and 8.30 p.m. At 2.30 pm the crowd was 14000 and Elvis wore "white egyptian bird" suit with original belt. At 8.30 pm the crowd was 14000 again and Elvis wore "Blue egyptian bird " suit with original belt. According to the Long Beach Press Telegram: " An eerie silence filled the concert hall when he sang, " And now the end is near", the opening line of the Frank Sinatra favorite "My way". It was like witnessing a chilling prophecy".

1977

Elvis performed at the Civic Center, Saginaw, Michigan at 8.30 pm. The crowd was 7197 and Elvis wore the "1974 arabian" suit with original belt.

1955

Elvis performed in "Magnolia Gardens"Houston, Texas and "The Cook`s Hoedown Club"
Houston, Texas

1963

Elvis had ordered a lot of books at the Readin' & Ritin' Shop.

1973

Elvis performed at the Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim, California 8:30 pm. The crowd was
8500 and Elvis wore the Thunderbird suit with Original belt and blue cape.
This night Lisa Marie was in the audience.







1975

Elvis performed at the Coliseum, Macon, Georgia at 8:30 pm. The crowd was 10242 and Elvis wore "Navy Blue Two-piece" suit with blue armadillo, no belt but light blue shirt.
Jerry Scheff returned on bass for the first time in 2 years.





1976

Elvis performed at San Diego Sports in San Diego CA. 8:30 pm. The crowd was 17500 and Elvis
wore the Blue egyptian bird suit with original belt.




1977

Elvis performed at the Crisler Arena, Ann Arbor, Michigan at 8:30 pm. The crowd was 12000
and Elvis wore the 1974 Arabian suit with Original belt.
"Unchained Melody" and "Little Darlin" were recorded during this show.

Elvis - april 23

1955

Elvis performed in "Louisiana Hayride" Heart O'Texas Arena, Waco, Texas

1956

Elvis performed at the Venus Room, New Frontier Hotel, Las Vegas at 8.00 p.m. and midnight.
Elvis opened a 2 week engagement in front of an older audience.
Later Elvis recalled: " after the first night I went outside and just walked around in the dark. It was awful. I wasn't getting across to the audience."
But never the less Elvis fell in love with this city and he was thrilled to meet so
many show business legends

1966

Elvis arrived at Graceland at 9.00 p.m. and was welcomed by about 50 fans at the gates.

1970

Elvis arrived in Palm Springs where he remained until April 28.

1971

Elvis bought a Sony tape recorder,
some speakers and a bass guitar at Bel Air Camera and Hi Fi.

1973

Elvis performed at the Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim, California at 8:30 pm. the crowd
was 8500 and Elvis wore the "Orange Sunburst" suit with original belt and orange cape





1975

Elvis flew to Macon, Georgia to begin with a tour.

1976

Elvis performed at the McNichols Arena Denver, Colorado at 8:30 pm. The crowd was 19000 and
Elvis wore "the White Egyptian bird" suit with original belt.



1977

Elvis performed at the University of Toledo Centennial Hall, Toledo, Ohio at 8:30pm. The
crowd was 9800 and Elvis wore the Mexican sundial suit with original belt.

Elvis - april 22

1960

Elvis spent his evenings at the Crossbow, where he met Lance LeGault.

1972

Elvis went back to California to spend the weekend in Palm Springs.

1973

Elvis performed at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum, Phoenix, Arizona at 3.00 p.m.
the crowd was 15000 and Elvis wore the fire suit with original belt and red cape.
After the show he went to his home in L.A.
until the next day. Then he drove to Anaheim where he stayed at the Anaheim Royal Inn.



1976

Elvis performed at the City Auditorium Arena, Omaha, Nebraska at 8:30 pm.
the crowd was 10546 and Elvis wore the V-neck suit with original belt.



1977

Elvis performed at the Olympia Stadium, Detroit, Michigan. at 8:30 pm. the crowd was 14500 and Elvis wore the Mexican sundial suit with original belt.

Elvis - april 21

1956

Elvis performed at the Municipal Auditorium, Houston, Texas at 7.30 and 9.30 p.m.

1957

On Easter Sunday Elvis and Yvonne Lime went to church for the first time in a
long time. After the service Elvis told the Reverend:
"I am the most miserable young man you have ever seen.
I have got more money than I can ever spend. I have thousands of fans out there,
and I have a lot of people who call themselves my friends, but I am miserable".

1960

Elvis began preproduction on G.I. Blues.

1964

Publicity stills were shot for Roustabout.

1973

Elvis flew to Phoenix to begin with his new tour.
Except for Jerry Scheff, who was replaced by Emory Gordy, all musicians were the same.

1975

Elvis returned to Memphis where he bought a house for Linda Thompson at
1254 Old Hickory, near Graceland.

1976

Elvis performed at the Kemper Arena, Kansas City, Missouri at 8:30 p.m
The crowd was 17600 and Elvis wore the "White egyptian bird" suit with original belt.
This was a hastily scheduled 6 day tour.
Ronnie Tutt had returned to the band.






1977

Elvis performed at the Coliseum, Greensboro, north Carolina at 8.30 p.m the crowd was
16565 and Elvis wore the Mexican sundial suit with original belt.
This was the start of Elvis' third tour of 1977 and he was accompanied by Ginger.

Elvis - april 20

1955

Elvis performed in "The American Legion Hut" Grenada, Mississippi

1956

Elvis performed at the North Side Coliseum, Fort Worth, Texas at 7.00 and 9.30 p.m.

1957

Elvis and Yvonne Lime attended a party at Sam Philips' home with Dewey and Dot Philips.
The night went on till the morning and ended with breakfast and gospel sung out by the pool.

1960

Elvis arrived in Los Angeles, but to avoid the large crowd at the station he disembarked on a siding just outside the station and took a cab to the Beverly Wilshire Hotel with The Colonel. The filming of G.I. Blues was about to start any day soon.








1961

Cast and crew returned to Hollywood, where filming continued at Paramount.

1964

This was the last day of principal photography for Roustabout.

1966

Elvis and The group stayed over in Albuquerque. Like always,
they traveled by night and slept during the day

Elvis performed at the Municipal Auditorium, Oklahoma City at 7.30 and 9.30 p.m.

1957

Yvonne Lime, a Hollywood star, arrived in Memphis for a visit and Elvis took her out to see
Graceland.

1959

Elvis hosted 4 German teenagers at his home for tea, who had won this visit as part of a
newspaper contest

1960

The train in which Elvis was traveling to California was mobbed by fans in El Paso, Texas.

1965

Elvis completed his work on Harum Scarum.

1971

Elvis and Priscilla flew to Mount Holly,
New Jersey, to visit for 2 days with Priscilla's brother, who was on leave from Vietnam.

1972

Elvis performed at the Tingley Coliseum, Albuquerque, New Mexico at 8:30 p.m. The crowd was 11847 and Elvis wore "White fireworks" suit with original belt and blue cape.
Following on this show Elvis flew home to Memphis.
