Elvis was picked up at the gates of Fort Hood by the Colonel and Anita at 6.00 a.m

1967

Elvis held a bowling party at the Whitehaven Plaza from midnight to 4.00 p.m.

1975

Elvis performed at "Von Braun Civic center" in Huntsville AL 2:30 pm and 8:30 pm.
Both times the crowd was 8000. At 2:30 Elvis wore "Chief" suit with original belt and 8:30
he wore The wonderful "Red phoenix" suit with original belt ( See attached photos )

1976

Elvis performed at "Municipal auditorium" in Lubbock Texas at 8:30 pm. The crowd was 9600 and
Elvis wore the "Blue egyptian bird" suit with original belt.

1977

Elvis performed at "Louisiana St university" in Baton Rouge, LA. 8:30 pm. The crowd was 15000
and Elvis wore the Mexican sundial with original belt.

Elvis - may 30

1956

Elvis attended the Humes and South Side High School graduations at Ellis Auditorium.

1972

Elvis returned to Los Angeles before flying home to Memphis the next day.

1975

Elvis performed at "Von Braun Civic center" in Huntsville AL at 8:30 pm. The crowd was 8000
and Elvis wore "Silver Phoenix" suite with "Black Phoenix" suit belt.

1976

Elvis performed at "Ector country coliseum" in Odessa TX 2:30 PM and 8:30 PM.
Both times the crowd was 8000 and at 2:30 Elvis wore White egyptian bird suit with original
belt and at 8:30 he wore V-neck suit with original belt.

1977

Elvis performed at the coliseum in Jacksonville FL 8:30 pm. The crowd was 10300 and Elvis
wore Mexican sundial suit with original belt.

Elvis - may 29

1955

Elvis performed in "The North Side Coliseum" Fort Worth 4.00 PM and at "Sportarium" Dallas,
Texas 8.00 PM

1956

Elvis went to Dixie's house and took her for a ride on his motorcycle

1963

This was Priscilla's graduation day from High School,
which Elvis didn't attend. Elvis waited for her in his car and took her home to Graceland
where a graduation party was planned.

1967

Elvis and Priscilla wore their wedding outfit again at a reception hold at Graceland
for friends, relatives and employees.
The room was decorated in green and white for the reception at 8.30 p.m.
The wedding cake was provided by Monte's Catering Service with music from Tony Barrasso.
Later in the evening Elvis went to the Memphian to watch a movie again.

1970

Elvis flew to Dallas with John Carpenter, Charlie Hodge,
Richard Davis and Joe Esposito. They stayed at the Royal Coach Motor Hotel until June 2.

1976

Elvis performed at the Myriad Center Arena, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at 8:30. The crowd was
15300 and Elvis wore the "Blue egyptian bird" suit with original belt.

1977

Elvis performed at the Civic Center, Baltimore, Maryland ay 8:30 pm. The crowd was 12841 and
Elvis wore the Mexican sundial suit with Original belt.
Elvis left the show in the middle of his performance.

Elvis performed in "The Big "D" Jamboree" Sportarium, Dallas, Texas

1957

Elvis bought his first grand piano for Graceland for $795 from Jack Marshall in Memphis.

1966

Like the days before Elvis went into the studio again, but without the Imperials his
spirit to record was gone. Only 2 songs were completed between 7.00 and 10.00 p.m.

1969

During this period at home, Elvis slept most of the day.
He took a swim in the late afternoon before he went horseback riding on the grounds.
He ended up down at the gates, where he talked with fans.
In the evening he continued to screen movies at the Memphian.

1976

Elvis performed at the James, W. Hilton Coliseum, University of Iowa, Ames, Iowa at 8:30 pm.
The crowd was 14750 and Elvis wore the "White Egyptian bird" suit with Original belt.
 

1977

Elvis performed at the Spectrum, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at 8:30 pm. The crowd was 18850
and Elvis wore the Mexican Sundial suit with original belt.

Elvis performed at the University of Dayton Fieldhouse, Dayton, Ohio at 2.00 and 8.00 p.m.

1957

Toronto radio station CHUM went to a Top 40 format and published its first hit record
chart 50 years ago today, in 1957. The No. 1 song was Elvis Presley’s All Shook Up.
The 1,500th issue of the chart made its appearance on March 14, 1986, making
it the oldest surviving radio station chart in North America. The chart was discontinued
later in 1986 when CHUM dropped its Top 40 format

1962

Like many other Sundays in Hollywood Elvis and the guys played football at De Neve Park near
Elvis' home and Elvis' team was suspiciously invincible

1963

Again Elvis went to RCA's Studio B in Nashville and recorded from 7.00 p.m. to 4.00 a.m

1966

Elvis went into the recording studio again from 7.00 p.m. to 5.00 a.m.

1969

Elvis flew back to Memphis, where he stayed until July 5, except for a brief trip to
Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

1976

Elvis performed at the Athletic Center, Bloomington, Indiana at 8:30 p.m. The crowd was
16000 and Elvis wore the "Vneck" suit with original belt. This was the first show
of a short tour of 11 days.

1977

Elvis performed at the Broome county Veterans Memorial Arena, Binghamton, New York. at 8:30 p.m
He wore the Mexican sundial suit with original belt.

1955

Elvis performed in "The Junior College Stadium" Meridan, Mississippi.

1956

Elvis performed at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium, Columbus, Ohio at 7.00 and 10.00 p.m

1963

Elvis went to RCA's Studio B in Nashville, where he worked from 6.30 p.m. till 5.30 a.m.

1966

Elvis went into the studio again and worked from 6.30 p.m. until 7.00 a.m.
The Imperials were present too and Elvis was extremely happy with their presence.
Because Floyd Cramer wasn't available until 9.00 p.m.
David Briggs was booked for the early session. Even after the arriving of Cramer,
Briggs kept on playing the piano, because Elvis had grown used to his sound.

1974

Elvis ended his engagement at the Sahara Tahoe Hotel,
with an added performance at 3.00 a.m

1977

Elvis performed at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena, Binghamton, New York at 8:30 p.m
and as usuall Elvis wore the Mexican Sundial suit with original belt.
Ginger left the tour after this show.

1955

Elvis performed in "The American Legion Hall" Meridan, Mississippi.

1956

Elvis performed at the Fox Theater, Detroit, Michigan at 4.00, 7.00 and 9.45 p.m.

1966

Elvis left for Nashville at 1.00 a.m. on a rented Greyhound.
At Studio B Elvis met his new producer, Felton Jarvis.
According to Chet Atkins, Felton's temperament would suit Elvis better.
Felton was already a big fan of Elvis. This was the first time in more than 2 years
 that Elvis was in the studio to record something else than soundtracks.
He had to deliver 2 singles, a Christmas single and a gospel album.
Elvis worked form 10.00 p.m. to 7.00 a.m. on this first night.
He concentrated on the album How Great Thou Art, but recorded
Tomorrow Is A Long Time from Bob Dylan as well.

1968

Still on Hawaii, Elvis and Priscilla went to Ed Parker's championship karate tournament
at the Honolulu International Center. The couple met with former international
light-contact champion Mike Stone.

1974

Elvis performed at the High Sierra Room, Sahara Tahoe Hotel, Stateline, Nevada

1977

Elvis performed at the Community War Memorial, Rochester, New York at 8:30 pm. The crowd
was 10000 and Elvis wore the Mexican sundial suit with original belt.

Elvis flew to the next gig with Gene Smith and Tom Diskin while the band drove again.
Elvis performed at the Municipal Auditorium Arena, Kansas City, Missouri.
However, there was a big riot and DJ's drums and Bill's bass were smashed,
while DJ himself was thrown into the orchestra pit.
The next day the paper wrote: "Elvis Presley flees to car after 20 minutes on stage."
at 4.35 Elvis flew to Detroit.

1959

Elvis had a meeting with Currie Grant, an airman whom Vernon and Lamar had already met in
Wiesbaden.

1967

Elvis bought Priscilla a special Happy Birthday charm with rubies and sapphires.

1970

Elvis held a surprise party at Graceland for Priscilla's birthday.

At 7.00 a.m. Elvis had a makeup appointment for the fitting of the "butch cut"
wig that he would wear in the prison scenes in Jailhouse Rock.

On this last day of the session in Nashville Elvis had Joyce Bova as a guest in the studio.

This was the first night of his 4th tour of the year. The crowd was 13000 and Elvis

1956

Elvis performed at the University of Nebraska Coliseum, Lincoln, Nebraska.
Elvis was asked whether Rock & Roll had a bad influence on teenagers and he replied:
"I don't even smoke or drink and I started singing as a gospel singer and come from
a Christian home."

1965

Elvis recorded his final vocal for the Frankie and Johnny soundtrack at the Goldwyn Studios.

1971

After recording 2 more gospels for his upcoming album, Elvis sat down behind the piano and
played some of his old favorites in the early hours of the morning.

1974

which would be the title of the album.

1973

Elvis was taken to a local hospital for some chest X rays and the fans
were told that the weekend shows were canceled and Elvis and Linda flew home to Memphis.

1974

Elvis flew to Springfield, Missouri, with Gene Smith and Tom Diskin,
while the band drove to the show in Elvis' Cadillac.
Elvis performed at the Shrine Mosque, Springfield, Missouri.

1957

Elvis wrote a note to the staff of the Cedars of Lebanon Hospital:
"Dear Friends, I want you to know how very much I appreciate your very wonderful
treatment while I was there. When I went in I was all shook up but I left loving you.
Thanks a million. My best to all. Sincerely, Elvis Presley."

1968

The producer Bob Finkel had hired Steve Binder as director for Elvis'
upcoming Christmas special and there was a meeting with Elvis at 8833 Sunset Boulevard
to discuss the show.

1971

On the third recording night in Nashville Elvis started with "Help Me Make It Through The Night"
 and "Until It's Time For You To Go". Finally Elvis went back to the original reason
that he was there for: the gospel album. Elvis also recorded Paul McCartneys song
"Lady Madonna" this night,
But after some karate moves the session ended before completing the album.

1973

Due to illness Elvis had to cancel 2 shows at the high Sierra theater.

1974

Elvis performed at the High Sierra Room, Sahara Tahoe Hotel, Stateline, Nevada
