Elvis - june 21


1955

Elvis performed in "The City Auditorium" Beaumont, Texas at 2.30, 7.00 and 9.00 PM

1956

Accompanied by his cousins Gene and Junior Smith, Elvis went to Atlanta in his new
Cadillac. Elvis Presley and Col. Tom Parker signed with the William Morris Agency and set
into motion the series of events that caused the creation of Elvis Presley as an American
icon.

1958

Elvis signed an agreement with Stylemaster Mobile Homes for use of a three-bedroom
trailer home in exchange for photographs of himself and his family in the unit.
Over the weekend, Gladys, Vernon, Minnie and Lamar Fike moved into the unit,
located near Fort Hood.

1967

Elvis completed soundtrack recording and was visited by Vernon and Dee and the
three Stanley boys and they all met Nelson Rockefeller, New York' governor,
while he was at the MGM studio between 7.00 and 11.00 p.m.

1968

Prerecording at Western Recorders continued for three more days,
with Elvis coming in at 2.00 p.m. each afternoon.

1973

Elvis performed at the Omni, Atlanta, Georgia at 8:30 p.m. The crowd was 17143 and Elvis
wore "Orange sunburst" suit with original belt and orange cape.







1974

Elvis performed at the Convention Center Public Hall, Cleveland, Ohio at 8:30 p.m. The crowd
was 10000 and Elvis wore "Peacock" suit with original belt.







1977

Elvis performed at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center, Rapid City, South Dakota at 8:30 p.m.
The crowd was 10000 and Elvis wore "Mexican sundial" suit with original belt.
This was the second show filmed for the CBS TV special.
