1956
Back in Memphis Elvis was spotted at a service station in his new Lincoln.
A Washington D.C. DJ, Bob Rickman, creates the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to
Elvis Presley. Much of the national coverage of the singer has been critical,
as evidenced by the many headlines which refer to him as a hillbilly.
1957
Elvis received a phone call from James Savery about plans for the Elvis Presley
Youth Center in Tupelo.
1958
Elvis Presleys mother Gladys Presley dies at the hospital at only 46 years of age.
The cause of death is a hearattack caused by acute hepatitis.
Elvis and his father were inconsolable.
1961
Filming on Follow That Dream resumed in Hollywood.
1969
Elvis performed two times in "International Hotel" Las Vegas at 8.15 and midnight
1970
Elvis performed at the Showroom, International Hotel, Las Vegas
1971
Elvis performed at the Las Vegas Hilton, Las Vegas.
Elvis complained he was coming down with the flu.
1972

Elvis held three days of rehearsals at RCA's Sunset Boulevard studio,
running tonight from 7.00 p.m. until 1.20 a.m. and continued on the next two nights
from 9.00 p.m. till midnight.

Elvis and Ginger went motorcycling with Billy and Jo.
