Elvis was photographed at the Knickerbocker Hotel, where he was staying.
Elvis Presley's double-sided hit "Don't Be Cruel/Hound Dog" hit the number one spot
on the pop music charts. It stayed in that position for eleven weeks.

1965

Elvis attended a windup party at the Polynesian Culture Center before he returned to
the mainland the following day.

Principal photography for Speedway was completed

Elvis performed two times in "International Hotel" Las Vegas at 8.15 and midnight

Elvis performed at the Showroom, International Hotel, Las Vegas

Funeral services were held for Elvis Presley at his Graceland estate in Memphis,
Tennessee. More than 75-thousand mourners surrounded the estate. The final goodbye.
