1956

Elvis left Memphis on an American Airlines flight for Los Angeles where he reported to
20th Century Fox for preproduction meetings for his first film.

1958

Elvis attended the funeral of Red West's father. He was overcome with emotions and later in
the afternoon he visited his mother's grave.

1960

Principal photography began at Conejo Movie Ranch in Thousand Oaks, California.

1965

Elvis received a telegram from the president of Capitol Records inviting him to a cocktail party in
Los Angeles on the 24th, to meet the Beatles. ( did Elvis attend that party? I know he met
Beatles 3 days after the 24:th, when they came to visit him in his home )

1969

Elvis performed two times in "International Hotel" Las Vegas at 8.15 and midnight

1970

Elvis performed at the Showroom, International Hotel, Las Vegas
Kathy Westmoreland start to work for Elvis.

1971

Elvis performed at the Las Vegas Hilton, Las Vegas.

1972

Elvis performed at the Showroom, Las Vegas Hilton, Las Vegas

1973

Elvis performed at the Showroom, Las Vegas Hilton, Las Vegas

1975

Noon rehearsals were held each day for three days in preparation for the Vegas opening.

1977

Elvis Aaron Presley - The reason I write and you read - passed away, far too early,
at 42 years young. Elvis was found in his bathroom by his girlfriend Ginger Alden.
He was rushed to the Babtist memorial hospital but it was too late. Elvis was announced dead
at 3:30 p.m.
